Cinco Day Mayo

Cinco de Mayo (the fifth of May) is celebrated to honor Mexico's victory over France at the Battle of Puebla during the Franco-Mexican War (1861-1867). Despite having a small band of fighters, the Mexicans were able to defeat the massive French army on May 5, 1862.
