  Welcome to Warrior Wives!
We believe life's daily battles challenge us physically, mentally and spiritually.  Neglecting any one of these areas will cause us to lose our direction, so every month we focus on a topic that encourages and strengthens us in at least one of these areas.  Follow us online as we meet new challenges each month and help you become better equipped to meet yours.

Local Resource Sharing
One of our main goals in Warrior Wives is to help provide resources to military families in our area.  Not every needed resource is military related, but many times it is difficult to find the information you need-when you need it.  Our May outreach topic is Local Resource Sharing and we are asking that you come with a list of your top 3 favorite resources as a military wife.  While you may not believe you have much to offer, imagine meeting a military wife going through her very first deployment and she does not live near an installation or her husband’s unit.  You would likely have one resource that helped you through your own deployment and that may very well be the one that keeps her from letting go of the end of her rope! Your resource may not be deployment related at all, but chances are you have a favorite shop that offers military discounts or a trusted mechanic that you found reliable during one of your previous military assignments.  Whatever your resource is, there is someone that can use it.  More than anything, military wives need time to share life with one another because there are just some things a family won’t understand!  If you have nothing to share, you likely need to come and obtain some new resources, so don’t let that keep you away.  We look forward to seeing you this Friday night and at the 5K on Memorial Day Monday, May 28, 2012!
